Methodology

Calculated at:

Exact printed identity

Every card here is identified by its exact printed variant: language, edition and printing. Two cards sharing a name can be materially different variants, so values are attached only to the specific identity shown. This exactness is what the price gate checks before any value is admitted.

Coverage is imported and admitted rather than complete. The library shows cards currently admitted from the existing library, Pokemon-first today, and does not claim to list all cards or a full library.

Estimates, not completed sales

Values shown are provider-estimate USD series for raw Near Mint, PSA 9 or PSA 10, only where the exact identity passes. Daily estimates and their history are not individual completed sales and not guaranteed achievable sale prices.

Grading-related figures such as certification records describe grading population, not print quantity or distinct physical cards, and underlying PSA 9/10 aggregates remain price estimates. Provider classifications keep their attribution.

Source dates, freshness and history

Source timestamps and ingestion time are separate and both matter. A freshness gate of 48 hours governs what counts as current; values that are missing, unverified or stale are labeled explicitly instead of silently shown or hidden.

Historical values carry their recorded source dates and last-supported dates, and historical values do not imply current values. Always read a value together with its date.

Public boundary and privacy

Collections are private by default and editable only by their owner. Sharing is opt-in: the owner previews a frozen, server-computed snapshot, then publishes it explicitly, and can update or revoke it at any time. Public snapshot pages show card identities, quantities, and qualified dated provider estimates only. They never include costs, purchase dates, notes, journals, email, or credentials. Private libraries, watchlists, journals, and settings remain authenticated and excluded from search. Revoking removes access at the origin but cannot recall copies others saved or cached elsewhere.
